Mary Hignett Bequest Helps Weston Lullingfields Village Hall

New tables were required so an application was made to the Mary Hignett Bequest Fund


The first event for the new tables, purchased with the help of an award from the Mary Hignett Bequest by Weston Lullingfields Village Hall, was a County Quiz evening where teams from Shropshire come to our Village Hall and we host the evening.

We provide refreshments ie cake and sandwiches and in this case had a licensed bar for the event.

We also help run the quiz by collecting and giving out answer sheets and scoring and provide a prize for the winning team - usually 4 bottles of wine! It is an annual event. I understand the evening went well with 11 tables of four in a team in attendance.
