President Ian Receives Award at Oswestry Town Council's Civic Dinner

Councillor Sandy Best hosted the event on Friday to thank her fellow members, dignitaries and people from around the town who have worked with her over the last 12 months.

Cllr Best said: “The last 12 months have demonstrated just how busy this council is.

“It is a council that I believe is respected nationally and locally, it is innovative, it willingly accepts change, and works comfortably and successfully through many partnerships.

“I have been proud to be mayor and I thank all my colleagues within the council chamber for their help and support.”

The evening included the presentation of awards to individuals incl our Club President Ian Glenister who has recently retired as the council’s solicitor.
