KIDS OUT ENTERTAINED AT FOLLY FARM

What a great day out was organised for two Carmarthenshire schools recently.

Pupils from Ysgol Llys Hywel from Whitland and, Llanmiloe School, Pendine were given a treat.

In total 41 children and 7 staff enjoyed  the annual  Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland  Kids Out Day at Folly Farm courtesy of Narberth and Whitland Rotary Club accompanied by Rotarians Mary Adams and John Sleigh.

President Tony Ensom said: “We ought to give a huge big shout out to The Plas Hyfryd Hotel who provided 50 packed lunches for all the group”.

Rotary Clubs throughout District 1150 in South Wales packed into Folly Farm, with 14 buses travelling from far and wide, enjoyed a fun-packed day at West Wales's Top Tourist Attraction.

A spokesperson for The Narberth & Whitland Club said the club owes a huge thanks to Folly Farm once again for their generous hospitality which is given to our Club through their Sponsorship for this event . Farmer Glyn Williams with his wife Ann set up Folly Farm as a tourist attraction 30years ago and his son-in-law Chris Ebsworth is the Managing Director. The Club are always hugely grateful for everything they do for the club for which Glyn was made an Honorary Member of the Club.
