Oswestry, proud past & bright future

Today we are fortunate to have as our guests Adele Nightingale and Lindsey Pierce who are the BID Manager and BID Administrator at Oswestry BID Ltd.

Lindsey recently moved to Oswestry in January 2019, being from the Ruabon area originally. She has previously spent a large proportion of her working career in the legal sector, specifically in personal injury claims. She has always worked hard to support clients and customers from start through to the finish, ensuring everything goes as smoothly as possible. Organisation is key and she brings these skills to the BID team. Moving to Oswestry, Lindsey has quickly fallen in love with the area and wants to give something back to the local community and businesses.

Adele has lived and worked in Oswestry for 15 years and has two daughters who currently attend the Marches School. She has always worked in the Industrial Sector, predominantly in Materials Handling. She set up and ran a successful business on the Oswestry Industrial Estate and therefore understands many of the challenges faced by businesses.

Having always been interested in supporting local businesses and loving living in Oswestry, Adele took on the role as BID Manager November 2018, and is committed to helping to make Oswestry a great place to live, work, invest and visit!
