2019 Presentation Evening

Club members welcomed representatives of the beneficiary charities from this years Beer and Music Festival. In addition, the evening was also attended by some of our generous sponsors and representatives of Blue Shed - our partners in the event


The Club's two main beneficiary charities from this years successful Beer & Music Festival were Alzheimer's Research UK and Blue Smile.

Each charity recieved a cheque for £2286.99 at the presentaion evening

We heard fro BlueSmile representative, Jess Manley, who is the Clinical Director about the progress and plans for the charity going forward in helping children with personal challanges and from Holly Noon, Regional Fundraising Officier for Alzheimer's UK in their ongoing challange to defeat Dementia.

Both expressed theor thatns to Soham Rotary and Blueshed Studios for ther efforts to allopw this generous donation to be made.

President Alan presented the cheques and thanked everyone who made the event possible especialy the sponsors, especially the sponsors, especially the sponsors !!!!!

back In 1993,The Rotary Club held it's first event based at the Pavilion on the town's recreation ground. Since then, through popular support locally and sponsorship, the event has grown into a two day extravaganza. With your support, local charities benefit.
