Another enjoyable night was had at the Sea Hotel, South Shields. There was a three course meal with choices on the night.
The speaker was Fred Raffle, who has accompanied BBC commentators on Test match tours for many years.
He gave us a most interesting talk on his life and achievements and was enjoyed by all those present.
