Buddy Benches
In an effort to further boost community spirit and combat loneliness , the Club has sponsored signage for Buddy Benches

We were granted permission from the Council to put these plaques on two park benches ( in Thornfield and Heaton Moor parks) before lockdown. We had lots of positive comments on Facebook but the Council wants email evidence to allow us extend the scheme more widely in Stockport. PLEASE could you click on the link below to send an email which to Stockport Council? Maybe say you support the scheme and would like it to be extended. Put your name and area of Stockport at the end.
If anyone knows a bench that would benefit from a plaque please let me know, either in the email or by comment on the post.
