You are invited to take part in our annual golf competition to be held at Penrith Golf Club on Friday 7th August. The tournament is an AM/AM stableford competition for teams of four with the two best scores counting on each hole. Handicap allowance will be 100% of full handicap up to a maximum of 24 strokes for men and 36for ladies. Tee times are available between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm.  The entry fee is £100 per team, which includes entry to the Twos and putting competitions. Meals will be available on payment at the clubhouse throughout the day and complimentary refreshments will be provided on the course. We have a range of golfing prizes including vouchers for Gleneagles, Dalmahoy and several other good courses as well as many other excellent prizes. Furthermore, players will receive a voucher entitling them to return to play at Penrith Golf Club at much reduced green fees.

This year we are raising funds for Eden Young Carers and Lake District Mountain Rescue Search Dogs, as well as the many other good causes supported by our Rotary Club.

Eden Young Carers support unpaid Carers in the Eden District of Cumbria. They provide support, advice and information for Young People under the age of 18 whose lives are affected by caring for a family member with a long-term illness or disability.

Lake District Mountain Rescue Search Dogs are a specialist team dedicated to training, developing and deploying Search Dogs within the Lake District Mountains and Fells to search for missing people. All Lake District Mountain Rescue Search Dog Handlers are operational members of Mountain Rescue Teams within the Lake District – all must already be competent in first aid and survival in a mountainous environment.

To enter our competition, please download the entry form above. You can enter more than one team if you wish, but if you are unable to play please pass on the link to this page to someone who might be able to put in a team. This is a charity fundraising event and we need your help to support the many deserving good causes out there.
