Durham Regatta - 2008

Sat, Jun 14th 2008 at 12:00 am - 2:00 am

Once again, we attended the Regatta with the miniature railway and tombola, both to raise funds and to raise awareness of Rotary.

We had a successful, if tiring, weekend at this, the 175th Regatta. The Tombola was cleared out early on Sunday afternoon. We also collected a useful amount from donations in return for rides on the miniature railway, all of which will go to the Polio Plus fund.

The tombola stall set up ready for the day.

Member John Clarke ponders on the task ahead.
