We have had to cancel our Tour de Furness 2020 this year and hope to hold our SILVER JUBILEE event in September 2021.
However in response to our loyal riders and to help local charities we are having a VIRTUAL TOUR de FURNESS this year.
Thankfully several teams have taken us up on our VIRTUAL EVENT, whilst numbers are no where near our usual and consequently monies raised for charitesi is also lower, we are neverthelss raising some useful amounts. Our mother club's team have ridden ALL of the TdF rides and were very complimentary on the new Lakeland BLUEBIRD 50, a real challenge. Also IPP Brian Boyd has slithered into his licra and likewise is riding all the routes, tackling the 50 on Saturday 26th, he welcomes any support which can be given and especially help to push his bike up Kirkby Moor ! Told you, you should have gone electric ! GP
