2016 Youth Successes

Success for Culross and Crossford Primary Schools. Rotary Young Writer winners and Primary school winners

Rotary Young writers of the Year Certificates were presented to Leo McCran and Ben Neil from Culross Primary School. The school was given a cheque for £100 to install a ‘trim trail’ to keep pupils and staff fit.

Crossford Primary School represented the Rotary Club of West Fife in the final of District Northern Scotland Primary School Quiz at the Beach Ballroom in Aberdeen on June 18. From an original entry of over 500 schools, through 75 Rotary clubs ranging from Fife to the north of Scotland, 16 teams made it to the final. After an exciting and keenly fought contest, Crossford finished in a magnificent third place, behind winners Cawdor Primary School from Nairn and runners up Dunning Primary School. The Crossford team are pictured with Club President Alex Evan Wong and with their Club heat and Area final trophies, won prior to the District final.
