1150 Rotarians Awarded Paul Harris Society Membership

Rotarian Malcolm Hallewell and his partner Carol, both of Cowbridge Rotary, have become members of the Paul Harris Society for their annual support of the Rotary Foundation.

THE PAUL  HARRIS  SOCIETY

Rotarian Malcolm Hallewell and his partner Carol, both of Cowbridge Rotary, have become members of the Paul Harris Society for their annual support of the Rotary Foundation.

The Paul Harris Society recognises Rotary members and friends of the Rotary Foundation who contribute $1,000 or more each Rotary year to the Annual Fund, PolioPlus Fund or approved Foundation grants.

“We are delighted to receive a recognition for our annual charitable giving, although it was not on our minds when we started, ”says Malcolm. “But the excellent work of the Rotary Foundation, with very little spent on overheads, means that our money works harder and more effectively than it does with annual giving to other charities”

Carol has been a member of the society for the past four years and the couple have jointly taken on a District role promoting the Major Donorships within Rotary in Southern Wales.

Carol and Malcolm join others in our District who are also members of the Paul Harris Society.

The couple were also recognized at the recent Rotary Institute by past Rotary International President Ravi for becoming Major Donors.

Please contact Carol and Malcolm, both are available to give a presentation to your members.  They will be delighted to hear from you.
