Todmorden Rotary Club

On the first day of the UK lockdown, Todmorden Rotary club set up a stall to provide masks for those entering stores in the town.

Many customers initially turned up without face coverings and appreciated our free distribution which prevented a trip home or potential conflict with store staff. We were pleased to record a 100% face covering success rate.

During the COVID outbreak, Todmorden Rotary Club have supported local elderly people, made a financial contribution to Radio Aire “Cash for Kids” appeal and supported the End Polio Fund. Plans are in place to make sure we continue to distribute hyacinth bulbs to the blind and poorly sighted people of Todmorden over Christmas.
