Umang Patel awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship.

Double recognition for Pensford  Post Master Umang Patel.  Mike Hedges, Past President of Chelwood Bridge Rotary surprised Umang and his wife with a presentation of a Community Recognition Certificate in respect of the outstanding support that he and his business has given his local community and in particular ,vulnerable residents during a year of Covid restrictions.  Not only this; Umang is also a very active member of the local Rotary Club of Chelwood Bridge where he has been at the centre of fund-raising activities for the Club which has benefited a range of local support charities with funds in excess of £1000 including the Keynsham Food Bank. In recognition of these efforts he has been awarded the prestigious International Award of a Paul Harris Fellowship.  Paul Harris was the founder of the worldwide Rotary Movement which started in Chicago.  Mike Hedges CBE
