The Christmas Phantom Mince Pie Guzzler!

Picture the scene.

Being presented a total of 12 Mince Pies made by Rotarian Hilary, take them inside and all of a sudden there is only 7 left! Well this happened to Rotarian Bill, no sooner had he sat down 5 mince pies had vanished.

Who's to blame?

Well that's what has caused the fracas

Bill is blaming Lass (the dog) and she is blaming Bill. Apparently Lass is looking particularly innocent.

Then it happened again! Bill was just about to go to bed and he noticed there were only six left! However the plate was on the edge of the table, evidence is building.

Rotarians have started siding with each of the household and Lass's Lawyer has asked Bill to cease and desist with the libellous accusations made against his client. Failiure to do so will result in court action..... However Bill has retorted that he believes his house guest is the culprit....he thinks

Another Rotarian has got involved again siding with Lass saying that she is more than a houseguest but the lady of the house! and what she says or does must surely take precedence over any body-else in the household.

Lass's lawyer was so impressed with this intervention and wanting to offer a job at Messrs Hookem, Pluckem and Smith to this very bright Rotarian, who responded by saying the firm wouldnt be able to afford her, which is probably true as they only represent the underdog!

The mystery continues with an uncomfortable atmosphere within the household, each blaming the other with Lass looking excessively innocent. Smug almost....
