Please join Ashtead Rotary members and friends for a 1-hour litter pick around Ashtead. Let's keep our village tidy and help to End Plastic Soup!

Meet at 2pm either outside the railway station main building or at the Barnett Wood Lane grass verge by Ashtead Football Club/QEII recreation ground. Please maintain social distancing at these meeting points.

We recommend that you wear sturdy shoes and gloves. Bring a face covering, hand santitiser for personal use and a litter picker if you have one, otherwise these will be provided. Waste bags and hi-viz jackets will be provided.

Families most welcome: the youngsters are often the most enthusiastic so we would love them to be involved!

Ashtead Rotary is an ambassador club for a Rotary collaboration called "End Plastic Soup". We will be running various projects to try to reduce the use and waste of plastic products that ultimately end up polluting our countryside, waterways and oceans. To find out more or to get involved, email ashteadrotary@gmail.com.
