Are you the next J.K.Rowling, the next John Le Carré or perhaps the next Poet laureate?
The search is on for budding writers aged 7-17 yrs.
Enter our
writing competition and start on your way to fame and fortune! The challenge is
to write a short story, fact or fiction, no more than 550 words or 40 lines of
poetry on the theme: A New Start.
Prizes (to be announced in July) will be given for first and second in each of three age categories:
7 - 10 years
11-13years
14-17 years
The deadline for entries is 31st May 2021.

This month we are pleased to welcome a new member to the Rotary Club of Market Bosworth. Derek Trott (who likes to be called Monty) has transferred form the Rotary Club of Newark Castle. Monty is an IT expert and has a wide range of other interests but at the moment his major activity is raising funds for the Prostate Cancer UK by cycling 300 miles.
