Rotary Club of Thame & District will be hosting an online talk about SERV OBN, the charity. Kamran Irani, Chairman of this charity, will share stories about saving lives on Wednesday 19th May 2021 with a prompt start at 7:30 pm.

SERV OBN – Service by Emergency Rider Volunteers – Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, and Northamptonshire – provides an out of hours rapid response service to the NHS hospitals in the four Counties mentioned in the charity name, delivering Blood, Blood products, COVID-19 samples, medical equipment, medical supplies and Human donor milk during the times when other transport options to the NHS may be limited, such as every night, weekends and Public holidays. The service is provided to the NHS free of charge using a fleet of specially liveried motorcycles and 4x4 vehicles.
During the time of the pandemic, Rotary Club of Thame & District and Phoenix Community Club members have continued supporting the local community, have been meeting safely online and have been welcoming 10 new members since March 2020.
