Firstly a huge thank you to all who have helped us in supporting the local community over the years, but especially through the last year.  It's at times like this that we realise how many good people there are in the community, all striving to help.

Rotary members, Associate members and friends have all worked their socks off during the last year and I would publicly like to thank them all for their efforts.

Epsom Rotary provides a channel for people who are concerned about our area to help in a number of ways.

We help physically by:-

Supporting the Old Moat Garden Centre and Cafe charity with its Walled Garden.  The Old Moat is part of the mental health charity the Richmond Fellowship.

We have recently started (with Ewell Rotary)  an allotment project in Epsom to provide food to Epsom and Ewell Foodbank

We take part in litter picks and other community activities.

We help marshal local events such as "Cancer Research UK's Race for Life", "Remembrance Day", "Round the Borough Hike and Bike"

We run fund raising events such as Epsom and Ewell Community Fayre

We also collect money for local charities by running events such as quizzes, wine tastings etc.

During the emergency we have donated tablet computers to support patients in the Epsom Hospital, fridges to store medicines with the Integrated Care Partnership, PPE, creams, oxygen and many other items to help us meet the challenge locally .

We even managed to support a hospital in Malawi, Africa with PPE to help them with their crisis.

Does this all sound good to you?  Want to get involved too?

Whether you want to volunteer to help with one of our projects or join us as a member, just send us your details and we will get in touch.
