on 10th November we were able to present Rotary's cheque for £2,500 to the wonderful charity that is Herts Young Homeless. Presenting the cheque are President, Coral Walton and President-elect, Sue Forrow and Past President, John Walton.

Proceeds for WGC Rotary's biggest ever single donation came from Sue's hugely successful Open Gardens event in September.

Receiving on behalf of HYH are Sue Cumming, Co-ordinator of the Friends of HYH and Michele Jones. Michele is the Live-In Support Worker of the new home Future Roots.

This is a project in partnership with Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council. Herts Young Homeless are renting a 6-bedroom house in Peartree Lane, WGC and creating a home to help transition vulnerable young people, aged 18 to 24 years old, from homelessness to independent living.

WGC Rotary Club is proud to have boosted the charity at such an important time and wish HYH every success in the future.
