The Rotary Foundation has responded very quickly with ways in which individual clubs can react, and leverage grant funding. Full details are here.
In addition, and perhaps more straightforward for most of our clubs, Hugh Holden our District Foundation Leader has opened a route where clubs can direct contributions to a Polish club,
Rotary Club Zamość Ordynacki which is coordinating collections on behalf of Dist 2231 (all of Poland) which is welcoming and caring for Ukrainian refugees arriving over the border.
For those clubs which would prefer to donate to an account in this country we have redesignated one of our Foundation accounts which was formerly used to control a Global Grant’s funding (hence the name) and are ready to receive any donations from clubs or individuals. Donations will be forwarded as and when a reasonable balance builds up. A GiftAid form is attached for any individual donations
It would help us answer the inevitable future questions if you could record your donation via this online form it won’t take more than 2 minutes of your time.
