At the timeof writing, there is 'a healthy bundle' of notes, 1.1 kg of foreign currency (incl out of date) plus some old UK notes and coins together with a bag of 'UK shrapnel' which will be tallied and sent off to the MAA and Cash4Coins.

Thank you very much to all members who dug deep in their cupboards, drawers and handbags to bring this event to a close!

We'll let you know how much it all raises when we are told!

STOP PRESS - 26th July 2022

Finally, after all the trials of lockdown, we eventually got our third Midlands Air Ambulance Foreign Currency Cash 4 Coins collection over the line.

* Drum Roll *

The final amount raised this time was £451.81!!

This comprised the currency sent directly to Cash 4 Coins £374.93 (see below) plus £76.88 which comprised the UK coins and the Euros (which I extracted and exchanged from coins collected) and paid in online directly to the MAA.

This is a wonderful amount and tops the:

£94.00 raised in Feb 2019 and the £207.18 raised in December 2016 making £752.99 in all raised for the MAA since December 2016 by our Club by converting your old unwanted currency!

Thank you so much.

Well done Club members!

Best
