Evening Meeting: Climate Change

Sir David King is indisposed. We are very grateful to Dr Shaun Fitzgerald for standing in at short notice, which he is very well-qualified to do.

Dr Fitzgerald is Director of Cambridge Centre for Climate Repair, "A mission-driven organisation advancing research on high impact climate repair projects that can be rolled out at scale within the next 5-10 years". The Centre is affiliated with Climate Zero at the University of Cambridge. Dr Fitzgerald has been attending COP27 in Egypt and will be able to give us an authoritative account of current climate research and predictions.

Before joining the Centre, Dr Fitzgerald was Director of the Royal Institution, the foremost British organisation for engaging the public in science and engineering.
