Many happy faces in the village of Passa as their well is repaired with a £1000 contribution from the Rotary Club of St Andrews.

A water well, originally funded by St Andrews Rotary Club and other clubs in District 1010, needed repair so that hundreds of villagers in Cameroon did not have to walk many miles to collect water.

The project was organised by St Andrews Rotarian Hamish Tait who spent 2 years on VSO as a hospital doctor in the area.

Water is the most scarce resource in the world and especially in north Cameroon.
