2023 Conference Registration

Rotary District 1070's District Conference 2022-2023 will be held at Drayton Manor Hotel and Conference Centre, on 21st to 22nd April 2023.

The venue is near Tamworth, Staffordshire, post code B78 3TW, adjacent to, but separate from Drayton Manor Theme Park.  Parking is free.

The event will start with a tapas meal accompanied by a jazz trio in the Park View Suite on Friday evening, starting at 7:30pm.

The main conference programme will be on Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

The event will finsih with a 3-course Gala Dinner Dance in the Tower Suite, starting at 7:30pm.

The House of Friendship will be open on Friday evening and all Saturday.

The registration fee of £34 includes entry to the conference, to the the House of Friendship, teas, & coffees and lunch on the Saturday.

The tapas meal and jazz event is £25 per person.

The 3-course Gala Dinner Dance is £35 per person.

Accommodation

The conference organisers have made arrangements for a number of rooms to be reserved for us at Drayton Manor Hotel at a fixed cost of £130 per room per night.  Should you wish to reserve rooms there please do so direct with the hotel reservations team, phone number 01827 255993, and quoting "District 1070".  Some of the rooms are suitable for a third or more persons; additional guests will be charged £15 per head per night to cover breakfast.

The rooms reserved at Drayton Manor hotel for booking by conference attendees will be released for general sale on 21st January.  So if you plan to book in the hotel it would be wise to do so before that date.

There are many other places to stay locally, including in Tamworth.  There is a caravan and camping park should you wish to bring your own accommodation.

Discounted tickets for the theme park can be purchased from hotel reception.  They are available for Saturday or Sunday - cost of the tickets is yet to be confirmed for main season 2023.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of registering. Registration closes at noon on 4th March 2023.  Please note that booking will only be firm when payment is received and not later than noon on 4th March 2023.  If not paid your reservations will be cancelled.  If your plans change, a full refund will be given for cancellations made prior to noon on 4th March.
