Remembrance Day Service, War Memorial in Pensford

The photograph was taken the morning following the Remembrance Day Service held at the War Memorial in Pensford. The middle wreath is the one laid on behalf of the Chelwood Bridge Rotary Club. In remembrance of those who gave their lives so that we might live in peace. ‘At the going down of the sun and in the morning – we will remember them’ Rotary is involved in supporting its local communities in so many different ways. We are currently encouraging those (women and men) who also care about our Chew Valley communities to come along to one of our Tuesday evening meetings.
