Feeding The Community
For several years some of our club members have helped this charity on a regular basis by delivering hot meals in the Stockport area.
We have supported this organisation for several years , it was previously known as "Handy Ladies feeding the community".
Half a dozen of our members regularly give up their time to deliver the meals and both the club and some of its individual members have made financial contributions. Over the Christmas period the Club also provided tins of chocolate treats for the meal recipients.
This is a good example of how a Rotary club can work with small local charities to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
At the moment they urgently need additional funding as no additional grants will be available until March.
