KNIGHTON ROTARY CLUB HOLDS “COLOURS” FASHION SHOW FOR CHARITY ON JUNE 10TH AT ST EDWARDS CHURCH HALL
This was a very successful event, with over 90 tickets sold, and 65 ladies on the day enjoying the clothes, models and the MC's banter. You can see more in these photos.
The clothes were discounted by at least 50% or more and were from fashion houses all over the world. "Colours" are offered stock from discontinued lines or excess stock. They are offered to the organisation for free, or at a reduced price, and this means that they can offer these clothes to charitable organisations such as ours. And buy everyone did, in generous quantities, as the clothes, shoes, scarves and handbags were sold at great prices....
We were delighted that, from tickets sales, raffle sales and refreshments, we made nearly £650 towards our charitable efforts in the community. Many thanks to everyone in the Rotary Club that helped with setting up, taking down, selling raffle tickets and refreshments, and collecting and selling tickets on the door. And to everyone who bought tickets and had a great time - we could not have done this without you!
