Monthly Veterans Hub

THE FIRST TUESDAY IN THE MONTH - VETERANS HUB

We are now in March and the first Tuesday hosted the monthly Veterans Hub at the Arm Reserve Centre Ewell. The Hub was well attended today and the venue provided a friendly, sociable and warm place for Veterans to meet and the turnout today was favourable. With help in setting up by the Army Reserve Centre the event was run by RBL,Epsom Rotary and volunteers who always say that they enjoy being part of the event, ensuring the Veterans are all in good spirits and to ensure they are well refreshed!  A talk was also given by Richard, who is also a member of Epsom Rotary on his work with Epsom Talking Pages and it was good to see that someone within the group benefits from this free service.  It was really to spread the word to all those who might benefit. 

The Veterans Hub has recently been advertised and as a result some further veterans have made contact showing an interest.
