Dictionaries 4 Life

Each year Chelwood Bridge Rotary Club presents the Usborne Illustrated English Dictionaries to Year 3 / 4 pupils of Primary Schools in the immediate vicinity of the Club. Each Dictionary is individually labelled and is personally presented, where possible, to pupils at the School itself. Historically this project has proved very popular with both pupils and Primary Schools alike since the Dictionaries are used as both part of the curriculum at the school and a valuable source of information to develop literacy skills at home. This academic year the Club will issue circa. 200 Dictionaries to local schools, a record amount.
