Final of the Area district quiz

14 members and 3 welcome guests trekked to the Crown in Rhayader to meet up with members and guests from the Aberystwyth Rotary Club.

The Crown treated us to an excellent spread of sandwiches, chips, sausage rolls and samosas for just £8 per person. They opened just for us for lunch and their support was much appreciated.

After lunch our team, which was made up of Norman, Tom and Dave (with substitute President Kim after half time as Dave and Heather had to return home) commenced the battle with the Aberystwyth Rotary Club team. 

We have to say that the quizmaster ADG Doug Warren was quite disorganised but after one and a half hours the Knighton Rotary emerged as victors, after Aberystwyth being in the front all the way.....On to meet Cowbridge in the District 1150 quiz semi final.....
