Seat Success at Stroud Valleys Project

Improving access for disabled people

Our team at Capels Mill has fixed the seat on this wheelchair-accessible picnic table, and we hope it will have another 10 years of life at this beautiful location. Thank you to Frank, Robin and Tony for your hard work.

Stroud Valleys Project was founded in 1988 to protect the industrial heritage of Stroud and its five valleys. Since then it has established a reputation for working on effective, person-centred projects with local community groups and volunteers. Its aim as a charity and campaigning organisation is to support people of all backgrounds, ages and abilities to connect with and nurture green spaces to keep people and nature thriving together.
