INTERACT RALLY
A very successful Interact Rally was held in February at the Gilwern Outdoor Education Centre near Abergavenny, the rally provided participants with the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills, take on outdoor challenges, and showcase their impactful community and international service projects. . DISTRICT AND NATIONAL YOUTH COMPETITIONS
District Youth Competitions for Young Musician, Young Chef, and Youth Speaks were all held on Saturday February 15th and attracted some very talented participants....
The District Young Musician competition was held at All Saints Church Porthcawl and won by Bailey Buckley (instrument) and Isobel McMeechan (vocal). Isobel went on to the National competition where she was chosen as runner-up.
The District Young Chef competition was held at Mary Immaculate High School Wenvoe and won by Lena Zielinska. Lena also went on to the National competition where she was commended for her food having a great taste! See Young Chef Final
The Youth Speaks competition was held at Queen Elizabeth High School Llansteffan. Winners of the Senior competition were Queen Elizabeth High School Carmarthen. Internediate winners were St John Lloyd's, Llanelli.
The District Young Artist Competition was won by Nina of Barry School in the junior division, Olivia of Crickhowell High School in the Intermediate division, and Lexi of Crickhowell High School in the Senior division.

ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARDS
Thank you to Rotary in Southern Wales and several clubs from our Cluster that sponsored young people to attend one of the three courses held at the Storey Arms, Brecon. Special thanks must go to Rob Fry and Hayley Ridge-Evans for organising the three courses and the staff at the Storey Arms, who pulled out all the stops to work with these young people to develop their leadership skills.
