Duke of Edinburgh Award
Queen Katherine School Kendal
There was no speaker at the meeting of Kendal Rotary Club on 3rd February, but instead following lunch, the members, met at Queen Katherine School and were given a presentation on the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. They then met, on an informal basis, with some of the pupils who were already taking part in the scheme and It is planned that the club will help support the school with funds to help encourage more pupils to take part with a view to them eventually achieving their Gold Award.
