Rotary Donates £500 to Isle of Man Mobile Family Library - February 2025

The Club's charitable trust has recently made a donation of £500 to support the work the Isle of Man Mobile Library


Run by a local charity, the Mobile Library travels Island wide bringing its services to the rural community.

The Mobile Library is for people in rural areas on the Island and for anyone (young and old) who is unable to get to their local library.

The main vehicle, a library on wheels, has over 2600 books and audiobooks to suit all tastes. It is also a great place to meet people, have a ‘skeet’ and find out what is happening where you live. Great friendships have been made on the Mobile Library.

A smaller vehicle travels around the Island visiting people in their own homes, in locations that the larger vehicle cannot reach.
