The annual West Fife Primary Schools Quiz was a very close contest held on Wednesday 26th March 2025 at the Oakley Campus. With two teams tied on 102 points after the ten rounds, it took a tiebreaker round to separate the teams with Saline coming out as the overall winners.
Organised by the Rotary Club of West Fife, the evening was a resounding success, with nine schools teams and an impressive audience of over 100 in attendance. The young quizzers from across West Fife battled it out, showcasing their impressive knowledge over ten rounds across a range of subjects.
Torryburn took the runner-up position, Crossford finished third on 101 points with Milesmark fourth on a very respectable 99 points.
Saline Primary's triumphant team will now advance to the Rotary Area Final at Auchmuty School in Glenrothes, scheduled for the evening of April 17th, where they will face off against the top teams from across the region.
The West Fife Primary Schools Quiz has once again highlighted the exceptional talent and dedication of the area's young scholars. Congratulations to Saline Primary and all the participating schools for an outstanding display of knowledge and sportsmanship.
