The speaker at the meeting pf Kendal Rotary Club on 28^th April was Captain Canon Hilary Borthwick from The Salvation Army, The Salvation Army is a worldwide Christian church and registered charity, which has been fighting against social inequality and transforming lives for over 150 years. Their work includes: Homelessness, Modern Slavery, Poverty, Addiction Campaigning and social policy, Older people, Community - debt advice, unemployment and isolation.
