Local artists exhibited their works and offered them for sale. This hugely popular event has been running successfully for many years to the delight of visitors and exhibitors. Pictured is the Mayor of Wirral admiring some of the work from schools.
The 2025 Art Exhibition at the Floral Pavillion was a great success and this was due to the exceptionally hard work of the committee involved and the enthusiastic support received from Wallasey Club members, Wallasey Inner Wheel and other Wirral Rotary Clubs.
A highlight was the quality of the entries from Wirral schools, with quality like this the future of British art is in very safe hands!
On opening night the Mayor of Wirral Brian Kenny was pleased to announce the winner of the School’s section, an exceptional piece of work entitled “Late Winter River” by Bibba a pupil at West Kirby Grammar School who will receive a presentation cup, while the runners up get a £20 Book Token each.
