Supporting Chew Valley School

On Tuesday 17th June two of our Club , Rob Taylor and John Palmer, volunteered to participate in the Business Day for Year 9 at the Chew Valley School. They joined a group of around 25 people from a wide range of backgrounds and businesses to conduct short interviews with the Year 9 students. As part of Enrichment week this gave the students a first insight to the interview experience. 

The quality of students and how they conducted themselves was very impressive and everyone found the whole process extremely rewarding. The students were well prepared and enthusiastic. Feedback forms were completed for each student to provide valuable feedback for the future. 

Many thanks to Katie Fenlon and all the staff at the school for the great organisation. This was not the first time the Club has supported this programme and it won’t be the last. John Palmer
