Nestling on the banks of the River Severn in the heart of mid Wales, Newtown, once the home of Robert Owen, sits in the old county of Montgomeryshire which is now part of Powys. With a population of around 13,000, it is a pretty market town with a rich industrial heritage, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Our Club is part of Rotary International, a worldwide organisation and we join 50,000 men and women from all walks of life across 1,800 Clubs in Great Britain and Ireland.
We are all volunteers who are working to benefit our local and international communities whilst coming together to enjoy fellowship.
If you are a Rotarian visiting the area you will be made welcome at one of our meetings.
