Leyland Rotarians were delighted to cheer on three teams from Balshaw’s High School when they competed in the North of England Final of Youth Speaks in Frodsham on 21 April 2024.

The first Pitch4Pounds awards have been made and other bidders invited to make their 'pitches' in May when they will give a brief account of how any donation will benefit the local community.

'Rotaduck' meeting ‘Heartbeat’ at Deepdale to mark Rotary Leyland’s donation which will help fund Heartbeat classes at Leyland Leisure Centre. This initiative can only continue if fundraising events like our virtual duck race are successful.

WHAT DO WE DO?
We engage in activities aimed at helping communities address identified needs in an endeavour to enhance the health, well-being and happiness of people and improve the environment in which we all live.
We also like to have fun with social events such as theatre and boat trips, barbecues, entertaining and informative speakers, visiting places of interest and networking with fellow Rotarians worldwide. Lifelong friendships and support networks are made which help personal development and understanding of human relations.
