THE ROTARY CLUB OF KELVEDON AND DISTRICT : NEW PRESIDENT FOR 2023/24 The Rotary Club of Kelvedon and District are pleased to welcome Rotarian Harvey Wash as President for the year 2023/24. 

Harvey started his working life as an agricultural engineer. He then pursued further studies in general engineering which led to an invitation for him to assist in the running of a Rolls Royce and Bentley car dealership.In the mid-seventies he started his own company as an independent Rolls Royce & Bentley agent. Earlier this year he passed the company over to the management team, allowing him to devote more of his time to his family.

In the tradition of his parents, who ran a smallholding, Harvey and his wife Andrea also own and manage a small arable farm in Kelvedon. 

For the last 20 years, he has been a director of an international Rolls Royce & Bentley Specialists Association. He is also a member of the local church and Director / Company Secretary for the local Credit Union.

Over the years, Rotary has allowed Harvey to meet and assist in helping local groups, schools and charities, as well as identifying broader international needs. In his year as President, he is determined to continue with this work and to expand upon the club’s current activities while also encouraging new faces to join Rotary.

Kelvedon and District Rotary Club is a mixed club of 28 members. We meet every Wednesday at 6.30 for a 6:45pm dinner at the The Blue Anchor Feering, just off the A12 west of Colchester.
