Rotarian Jim Douglas gave a very interesting talk on the background to the Stonehaven Town Partnership (STP) and in particular the work restoring and commercialising the Sheriff Court Building after it was acquired through a community Asset Transfer in 2018 for the sum of £1. Since then over £127,000 has been spent refurbishing it. The building is currently fully tenanted and there is a 5-year maintenance plan in place. STP continues to promote Community organisations and groups. A very humorous A very humorous vote of thanks, with a Courthouse tale involving STP, was given by Immediate Past President John Robson.
