About us

Ashtead Rotary Club was formed 20th February 1981. We are a mixed club of over 30 members from a wide variety of backgrounds. Guests and new members are always welcome. If you are interested in joining or just learning more about us, please get in touch using the contact button at the bottom of the page.

We normally meet on Thursday evening at The Running Horses in Mickleham. The meetings are varied and may be a speaker on a wide range of topics, a social activity, or a business meeting where we discuss our program and how to help the various charities we support.

Our motto “Service above Self” which neatly summarises our purpose namely to help others. We do this together with our Rotary friends having a lot of fun along the way.

We do appreciate the support of the businesses and residents of Ashtead, and through them we are able to help, both with time and money, a wide variety of community organisations, local and international charities. If you would like to know more about what we do, please browse through the rest of our website.

You can help in a number of ways;-

  • Volunteer at one of our initiatives – keep watching this website or our facebook page for details
  • Donate to the club for a specific project https://www.justgiving.com/rotary-ashtead
  • Talk to us – we are always looking for interesting speakers
  • Come to one of our meetings
  • Join us

11am, Saturday 10th June 2023

Queen Elizabeth II Field, Barnett Wood Lane, KT21 2BZ

Ashtead Village Day is organised each year by the volunteers of Ashtead Rotary Club to provide a service to the community. The event is also the main fundraiser that allows Ashtead Rotary Club to support  many worthy causes over the following year.

Reduced price tickets will be on sale in advance in many of the local shops or full price tickets may be purchased on the gate on the day.

So come and have fun! It is a spectacular day out for the whole family, from infants to grandparents and all those in between.
