Thu 7th March 2024 Primary School Quiz

Teams from local primary schools took part. Winning team was from St Patrick's. Everyone enjoyed it. The Rotakids helped with distribution and collection of answer sheets.

We hosted this competition again, with teams from various North Lanarkshire schools. Winners of the 3 levels levels were Chryston, Coltness and Kilsyth

Rotarians helped Kilsyth Environment Group and Balmalloch parents and pupils barrow and spread stones to upgrade a school grounds area
Rhona was presented with a club citation for 22-23 and Paul Harris Fellowship award.

We celebrated Burns in our own way with contributions from guests and members. Rhona was presented with a deserved Paul Harris Fellowship and a club citation award for club achievements in 22-23. A most enjoyable evening.

A disco with a difference. Listen to different music on headphones, dance or just have a chat.

Ann and Violet displayed the Kilsyth Quilt and explained how it came to be developed by the Optimists' Group. The embroidered quilt depicts scenes from Kilsyth history.

Santa and his helper attended. A number of craft stalls sold a variety of wares and the tearoom was busy as always.

Dave gave an account of his organisation which provides music tuition, pre and after-school care and counselling services to primary school age children. Members form Alloa club paid a visit.
