A pleasant sunny evening gave a number of mambers an opportunity to try their hand at bowls.followed by an excellant supper at the Barnstable Bowls Club.
A group of Swiss Rotarians from Ueli's old Club visited Link & were royaly treated to a walking tour of our town & President's Night.

Our inaugural Fair Opening Party for local special needs youngsters was a great success. After an enjoyable morning sampling rides at Barnstaple Fair over 100 youngsters were treated to a fine spread at the Barnstaple Hotel.

164 golfers from all over the county took part in this year's competition and raised a terrific £4,000 for our chosen local charity - the Chemotherapy Unit Appeal.

This year's concert held at the Queens Theatre. treated the near capacity crowd to a great evening's entertainment ending with a superb performance by leading West End stars Nic Greenshields and Jo Gibb.

The Barnstaple Link Rotary Club annual Christmas Party for the towns senior citizens is now firmly established in the festive calendar and this year saw over 100 arrive at the Barnstaple Hotel for an afternoons tea and entertainment.
It gave all the recipients an excellent chance to appreciate what effort has gone into raising the funds - it takes a lot of 20p items to raise the sums around £300+ that were dished out.
The longest and most gruelling race in the North Devon Pilot Gig calendar started beneath Bideford Bridge on the top of the tide on Sunday12th September.

THE CHANCER GOLF COMPETITION Wednesday 16th June - Saunton Golf Club Our annual 'golfer & non-golfer' competition attracted a strong field of competitors this year with plenty of gamesmanship evident in the battle to win the prestigeous trophy!
A trio of Lynton golfers walked off with the tournament winning trophy against a record number of entries in the annual Barnstaple Link Rotary Club Charity Golf Day.
Phil's latest walk on Exmoor was advertised as a 3 to 4 mile level walk starting at Simonsbath. After only 10 minutes of walking we were able to take in a wonderful view from the top of our first hill (about 500ft!).
Our club's golfers have enjoyed yet more success this week by winning the Rotary Golf Fellowship Trophy for the 3rd year running.

A special highlight of the evening was the surprise but deserved presentation of a Paul Harris Fellowship award to Tony Freeman - for a change he was almost stuck for words!
UELI'S BLUEBELL WALK Withypool to Tarr Steps / Sunday 10th May A good crowd of us turned up having heard that the route was to be all flat or downhill!
With no Phil to guide us on this occasion we were in no danger of getting lost and we all made it back to the Saunton Clubhouse for a fine carvery and dessert.
