Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Cardiff Breakfast

Using the menu on the left, you can find out more about what we do. If you are visiting the area or live here, you will be more than welcome at one of our meetings - check the venue and programme pages for further details. You can use the 'Contact Form' button (above) to contact us by e-mail, if you wish.
Our Club was chartered in 1997 to meet the need for a breakfast Club in Cardiff to complement the other six clubs who meet in the evening or at lunchtime. We were also the first dual gender Club in Cardiff. We currently have 29 members.
Meetings begin at 7.30 a.m. and finish at 8.30 sharp. Fitting a full breakfast, business and guest speakers or committees into one hour is a challenge which has been ably met by our Presidents.
Meetings take place at the Whitchurch (Cardiff) Golf Club (from March 2009). Since inception, we have closely identified with the north Cardiff suburbs of Whitchurch and Tongwynlais. Castell Coch – the Red Castle – is nearby and has been adopted as the Club’s logo, appearing on our Newsletters and banner. The picture is of the Castell, originally built in the 13th Century but reconstructed by the renowned architect William Burgess in the 19th Century under the patronage of the third marquis of Bute, who was then reputed to be the richest man in the world.
