Coalville as its name suggests is built on the history and success of the coal mines.

 After the mines closed, the Town suffered from lack of employment. Now however the Town is very much in the ascendancy, and has a lot to offer.

Rotary plays a big part in the community and is always seeking new members to further its cause of helping the community.
