The Rotary Club of Market Drayton

 

 Each Rotary Club operates autonomously under the Rotary family and select the causes it wishes to support each year Projects are undertaken locally, nationally and internationally using our collective skills to create a better world. At home, the club has a programme that raises funds for local charities including: , Help for Heroes, Hope House , Severn Hospice , Lingen Davies, Cancer Appeal .

Club members each help out in a special committee. These include :

1. Community and Vocational

Local Market Drayton Projects (Mencap Garden, Carnival, Market Drayton Primary Schools, Bulb Planting, Tree of Light, Stroke Awareness.

2. Youth Helping our young people grow (Youth Speaks, Disabled Fun Day, Dictionaries4Life, Young Innovator, RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards)

3. International On a global scale we aim to help others that are less fortunate than ourselves. (End Polio Now, Shelter Boxes, Aquabox, Jaipur Limb Project, “V Festival� Tent Collection, Youth Exchange)

4. Membership Service Look after members, recruit and run the club.
