Putting in the Rain......or Not


Members met on the evening of 30th May to contest the annual Putting Competition to win the prestigious 'Claret Mug'.

Race Night on 16th February 2019


The Club held a very successful Race Night in the Bute Shinty Club which was enjoyed by all attending. At the end President Jim Findlay thanked everyone for their generosity in supporting the Club.

President Georgeann Martin presents Dictionaries4Life at North Bute


The Club took much pleasure in presenting Dictionaries4Life to all primary seven pupils at our three primary schools, North Bute, Rothesay Primary and St. Andrews Primary marking the transition to secondary school.

Beach Clean and BBQ May 2019


Rotarians assisted by wives, partners and friends enjoyed a beautiful evening at Ettrick Bay collecting rubbish from the beach followed by an excellent barbecue. Ettrick Bay was chosen as the Club had "cleaned" our normal beach at Stravannan in March.

Bowling at Craigmore


On 11th July members gathered at Craigmore Bowling Club on a warm sunny evening to try their hands at bowling with expert tuition from former member Hugh Yeamans. Winners were Jim Findlay and Ronnie Falconer.

Welcome to the Rotary Club of Rothesay on the Isle of Bute
